JSA had the 7th meeting on Friday, March 18, 2011.
This became one of the most important meeting for us because Japan had huge disasters two weeks ago, and we decided to make action to collect donations for the relief.
Many people including Japanese faculties came to the meeting and listened to what JSA would do.
Actions we are planning for far are...
- Free Speech Area JSA Fundraising
- Date: March 22-25 (Tue - Fri)
- Time: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Location: Fresno State, Free Speech Area (between the library and the University Student Union)
- Donation Boxes/Jars
- We are looking for restaurants, grocery stores, and any other places to place our donation boxes.
- If you know any place we can put our donation boxes or know owners of any business, please let us know.
- Curry Party and Game Night
- This plan has not confirmed yet, so the date, time, and location might be changed.
- Date: March 25 (Friday)
- Time: 5:30 p.m.
- Location: Parkwood Apartment Recreation Room
- We will meet in Science II Room 109 (our usual meeting place) at 5 p.m. and move to the place
- Raffle Tickets

- Vintage Days
- Date: April 15-17 (Fri-Sun)
- Time: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Preparation starts at 8 a.m.)
- Location: Fresno State
- We will sell takoyaki (squid style), onigiri, iced tea
- Woodward Park Spring Blossom Festival (March 26, 27)

- Charity Yoga

- Fee: $5- (all money will be donations to Japan earthquake relief)
- What you need: Yoga mat (or bench towel), a bottle of water, a towel
